Is it Legal to track the workforce to that level ?
Absolutely, Ottogee aims first and foremost to improve the safety, skills, and productivity of blue collar workers and utilization of machinery around the world by making information about working habits more available and transparent. This is legal by jurisdictions across the American Continent, Europe, Asia, and Africa. However, in some cases clients might opt not to track workers by name and to anonymize the data and that is something Ottogee can readily do.
Do Ottogee trackers work indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions (we will speak about limitations here) ?
Ottogee uses GSM, Cellular, Wifi and Bluetooth technologies to keep tracking, anytime and anywhere. Whereas outdoor tracking is easier for cellular and GSM transmission, we might need to support internal coverage by simple Bluetooth beacons that are very easy to install
Where do you put the trackers ?
Ottogee trackers are less than 20 grams in weight and smaller than an A3 battery, they can be attached anywhere on the team member’s coverall or left in the pocket. For machinery, they can just be left in the glove compartment or above the dashboard.
What if the person mishandles the device ?
Ottogee trackers are always on and each one will be tagged to specific individual or machinery. Trackers send notifications to the administrator days before the battery finishes which means that if they are removed and thrown anywhere, they can be retrieved. There are also several other restrictions to eliminate the possibilities of having one individual carrying more than one tracker or exchanging trackers between team members.

Ottogee tracker is an asset that will live to serve many projects over several years. For quantity less than 100 trackers, each tracker will be sold for 100$ per piece. Each level of service will then be priced to cover connectivity and customizing the dashboard to your specific needs.
